Bedworth back to winning ways.
The match started, both teams closing each other down very quick so no chances created. Then a bit of the bizarre moment, a throw in to Bedworth, the ball launched in to the box everyone misses it and ends up in the net, goal kick because no one touched the ball from the throw in. Then after 21 minutes a shot from distance by Nuneaton but straight at the keeper.
Another Bedworth throw creates a scramble in their box the ball breaks to Alex Platt whose shot was blocked. 30 minutes in a in swinging corner to Nuneaton see's our keeper gather it in at the second attempt.
Minutes later saw Joshua Ruff go down the wing a good cross, Alex Platt at the far edge of the box runs in and shoots - 0 -1. Then Bedworth start putting on the pressure with 3 corners on the trot but nothing comes from them.
Half Time 0 - 1
Straight from the kick off Nuneaton get a throw in, launched in to our box, but the shot goes over. Nuneaton is on top for the first 10 minutes resulting in a long range shot that hits the bar.
That was a wake up call, from then on Bedworth started to change up another gear, shots from Joshua Ruff, Danny Wright go close. Finally from a free kick in the Nuneaton half a floating ball to the far post and Joshua Ruff stabs it home 0 -2.
Ringing in the changes Danny Wright off Arron Troop on. Then a Nuneaton corner which is cleared up field Alex Platt pounces on it, his shot beats the keeper but the defender can only help the ball into his own net, 0 -3.
Another corner to nuneaton see's the ball cleared of the line, then up field to Arron Troop beats one man, runs at the defence, then brought down from behind, the first yellow card of the match. Nothing comes of the free kick, Tom Keating off, Sam Bircher on. Bedworth then create 2 or 3 more chances but the closest hit the side netting from Sam Bircher. The result 0 - 3. Back onto winning ways.
It was not the best game of the season, but the result speaks for its self. Well done lads, now let's have a go at catching Telford.
